It all started with an unexpected opportunity in a Los Angeles denim laundry, that turned into a true passion for washing & dyeing jeans.

Over the course of 5 years, I went from shipping & receiving, to wash development, to chemical purchasing, to production, and finally… the general manager of a large laundry facility of 175 employees, working 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. We never stopped. It was an exciting time of life.

That lead to...

nearly a decade in New York City working as Vice President at a fortune 500 company creatively and technically supporting 19 denim design brands with fabric and wash development in nearly 40 countries with over 175 industrial laundries around the world. This was like getting a masters degree in the global denim business.

And now… 

I’ve taken this collective industry experience to partner with a few of the best mills in the world forming Artisan Cloth Inc.
